Carlos "Botong" Francisco is one of the three famous national artists of Rizal province.
"Botong" as he fondly called, was declared National Artist in 1973 and received the Republic Cultural Heritage Award in 1976.
His works:
1. The mural "Fiesta" (1947) which he did for the Manila Hotel
2. "Pounding Rice" (1949)
3. "The Threshers" (1950)
4. "Muslim Betrothal" (1958)
5. The mural depicting the Filipino struggles through history at the Bulwagang Katipunan of the Manila City Hall (1964).
