Is Posh Spice slated to replace Paula Abdul?
The U.K.'s Daily Mail is reporting that Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham will appear as a guest judge on “American Idol."
Just days after Paula Abdul confessed she would not be returning to the hit show, Simon Cowell reportedly reached out to Beckham to persuade her to join him on the judging panel.
So how much is Posh slated to earn for that one day of work?
It’s rumored to be a cool $220,000!
The choice is a bit of a shocker to fans, considering Posh – by her own admission -- is not exactly the best singer.
“I worked hard at it,” the British star has said. “But I was never going to be the best singer or dancer.”
That’s OK though. We’re pretty sure she is good at being judgmental.
But don't expect Posh to take over Paula's post permanently -- she reportedly doesn't want to take any time away from her fashion line.
